Shipping & Delivery

We build and ship handmade saunas and accessories designed for long-term use. Please review the information below before placing your order.

Shipping Rates

Canada

  • Shipping flat rates are calculated at checkout based on destination:

    • Camrose County: $525 Shipping

    • Rest of Alberta: $925

    • Western Canada (British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba): $1,725

    • Eastern Canada, contact us for shipping quote

  • Smaller accessories ship via standard parcel carriers

Remote or rural locations may require custom freight quotes. If you’re unsure whether your location qualifies, please contact us before ordering.

Where We Ship

Norr Saunas ships within Canada only. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Shipping Timeframes

Sauna Cabins & Large Items (Freight)

  • Production and lead times vary based on inventory and custom sauna builds. We will communicate timeline with you after order has been placed.

  • Once shipped, freight delivery typically takes 1-3 business days, depending on location

  • Remote or hard-to-access areas may experience longer transit times

Freight deliveries are curbside unless otherwise specified.

Accessories & Smaller Items (Parcel)

  • In-stock accessories typically ship within 1–4 business days

  • Tracking details will be emailed once your order ships

Delivery by Norr Saunas

Sauna cabins and large components are delivered directly by the Norr Saunas team.

  • Delivery is to the edge of your driveway or property, unless otherwise arranged in advance

  • Customers are responsible for moving the product to its final installation location

  • Someone must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and accept the order

Please ensure your delivery location is accessible for a large truck and trailer. Any additional labour, equipment, or access requirements beyond standard delivery must be discussed in advance and may result in additional charges.

Taxes

  • Applicable GST/HST and provincial taxes are charged at checkout

Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect all freight deliveries before signing.

  • If your shipment arrives damaged, do not accept delivery

  • Our team will be making the delivery to your location so there should be no issues that we can't resolve on the spot :)

Order Changes

Order changes must be requested within 12 hours of purchase.
After this window, production or shipping preparation may already be underway and changes may not be possible.

Returns

Because our products are large, custom-built, and shipped via freight:

  • All sauna cabin sales are final

  • Accessories may be eligible for return within 30 days if unused and in original packaging

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Please contact us before returning any item to receive approval and instructions.

 

Terms & Conditions

Site Preparation Requirements

Prior to delivery or installation, the client is responsible for ensuring their site is fully prepared in accordance with Norr Saunas’ site preparation guidelines and any requirements identified during the planning process.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • A level, stable, and accessible foundation

  • Professionally installed electrical connections

  • Professionally installed water connections (if applicable)

  • Adequate access for a large truck and trailer

Failure to meet these requirements may result in additional costs, rescheduling fees, or cancellation of the delivery or installation appointment.

Norr Saunas is not responsible for costs, delays, or damages resulting from unprepared, inaccessible, or non-compliant sites.

Scope of Work, Delivery & Installation

Norr Saunas’ scope of work is limited to the fabrication and delivery of the sauna, and installation where explicitly agreed upon in writing.

Standard delivery assumes reasonable site access using typical equipment and labour methods.

If it is determined during the planning phase that the site requires non-standard access (including but not limited to crane use):

  • Norr Saunas may assist in coordinating a qualified third-party service

  • Once the sauna is transferred to a third-party provider, responsibility and liability transfer to that provider and their insurer

  • Norr Saunas is not responsible for damage caused by third-party handling or placement

Minor damage to landscaping, driveways, pathways, or surrounding areas may occur during delivery or placement and is not the responsibility of Norr Saunas.

Delivery dates are scheduled collaboratively and may shift due to weather, access, or logistical conditions.

Use of Sauna & Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and using a Norr Sauna, the client acknowledges that:

  • Saunas generate high heat and may not be suitable for all individuals

  • Users should consult a qualified medical professional prior to use, particularly if pregnant, elderly, or managing pre-existing health conditions

  • Children must be supervised at all times

The client assumes all risks associated with the use or misuse of the sauna.

Norr Saunas is not liable for injury, illness, death, or health-related events arising from use of the sauna.

Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Norr Saunas, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Improper or unsafe use of the sauna

  • Failure to follow provided instructions or guidelines

  • Injuries or property damage occurring on the client’s premises

  • Improper installation, handling, or modification by third parties

Limited Warranty

Norr Saunas may provide a limited warranty covering specific structural or material components should they not hold up to our high quality standard.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse or lack of proper maintenance

  • Natural aging, weathering, or patina of materials

  • Cosmetic changes such as surface checking, colour variation, or UV exposure

  • Damage caused by third-party services (including crane operators)

  • Modifications made by the client or others

Force Majeure

Norr Saunas is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Labour shortages

  • Transportation delays

  • Acts of God or other unforeseeable events

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation before initiating legal action.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any written proposal or signed agreement, constitute the entire agreement between Norr Saunas and the client.

No verbal statements or representations are binding unless confirmed in writing and signed by both parties.
